【个人简介】
吕培明，教授、硕士生导师、同济大学副校长，曾任陕西省渭南市委常委、副市长；长期从事英语教育与高等教育管理，出版、发表或完成论文、译著、教材、调研报告等三十余篇（部），主持的课程系列获教育部、上海市品牌课程或示范性课程，获同济大学教学成果奖特等奖。

【教育经历】
1985年9月至1989年7月，上海理工大学（原上海机械学院）科技英语系学习，获工学学士学位；1995年9月至1998年2月，上海外国语大学英语学院学习，获文学硕士学位。
【工作经历】
1989年7月参加工作，历任上海建材学院基础课部教师、同济大学外国语学院讲师、副教授、教授；同济大学外事办公室主任助理、副主任；中国驻休斯顿总领事馆教育领事；同济大学外国语学院党委书记、人事处处长、副校长。
【学术成果】
出版、发表或完成论文、译著、教材、调研报告等三十余篇（部）；主持的“当代中国”全英语系列课程包先后获得“教育部2013年度来华留学英语授课品牌课程”、“2013年上海高校外国留学生英语授课示范性课程”和“2013年上海高校示范性全英语课程”。
【讲授课程】
长期从事英语教学工作，为非英语专业本科、硕士、博士生开设多门基础课；为英语专业高年级学生和硕士研究生开设多门专业课程，包括《跨文化交际学概论》等；为MBA、MPA等专业学位研究生开设英语课程；主持全英语通识课程系列《当代中国》；近年来先后指导英语语言文学专业以及翻译硕士(MTI)专业学位研究生近20人，公共管理硕士研究生（MPA）近10名。

Lü Peiming
BIOGRAPHY
Professor Lü Peiming is Vice President of Tongji University. His main research interests include intercultural communication study, English education and higher education management, and he has published widely in these fields. He also received several honors and awards due to his academic or teaching performance or social service.

EDUCATION
July 1989, graduated from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (previously as Shanghai Institute of Mechanical Engineering) with Bachelor degree in English; February 1998, graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with Master degree in English language and literature.
EXPERIENCE
Since July 1989, Prof. Lü has served as Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor. He also successively held the posts of Director Assistant, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Party Secretary of School of Foreign Languages, Director of Department of Human Resource and Vice President at Tongji University. From February 2004 to July 2006, he served as Education Consul at Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Houston, USA.

He has published widely in the fields of intercultural communication study, English education and higher education management.

ACHIEVEMENTS
