In recent years, under the guidance of the "Healthy China" strategy and in line with the construction of New Medical Education and New Liberal Arts, the fields of medicine have been continuously intersecting and integrating with linguistics, literature, translation studies, and cultural studies. The research achievements possess both theoretical value and social benefits, reflecting the relevant disciplines' response to national strategies and emphasis on social concerns. To further promote the cross-integration of medicine and language literature disciplines, following the first three conferences held by Southern Medical University, Guangxi Medical University, and Shandong University, Tongji University will host the Fourth National Medical Language and Translation Academic Seminar in Shanghai from September 23 to 25, 2022. The conference will invite renowned domestic and foreign experts to deliver keynote speeches, welcome experts and scholars to organize seminar groups, and simultaneously select papers for awards and establish a young scholars forum.
